The Ford FG Falcon in which Mostert and Paul Morris won the 2014 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 In 2014, he drove for Ford Performance Racing under the Pepsi Max Crew Ford FG Falcon previously driven by Will Davison in the 2013 Championship. Adam DeBorre remains his engineering, transferring back to Ford Performance Racing from Dick Johnson Racing. Mostert won the 2014 Bathurst 1000 with co-driver Paul Morris, after starting at the back of the grid, the lowest ever starting position to go on to win the Bathurst 1000.[6] On 9 October 2015, during the qualifying session for the 2015 Bathurst 1000, he was involved in a horrific crash leaving him with a broken leg and a broken wrist, ruling him out for the remainder of the season. Before the crash, he was second in the championship, behind team-mate Mark Winterbottom. In 2016, alongside his return from injury to V8 Supercars, Mostert, with Nathan Morcom, won the inaugural Bathurst 6 Hour race for Group 3E Series Production Cars driving a BMW 335i E92
